The Broad Bean is a part of the legume family, it is an edible vegetable, the seeds and pods can be used in multiple ways, mainly grown for it’s beans it is one of the first to produce a crop. They are a great source of protein and vitamins including A, B1 and B2. It is an Annual Vetch that can reach between 0.5m to 1.5m and is a hardy adaptable bean. Known as, Fava Beans in the US.
