Sowing Time in Ireland
Sow outdoors from May to July once all risk of frost has passed and soil has warmed.
Germination
7 to 14 days in soil temperatures between 12 and 20 degrees.

Sow seeds 5 centimetres deep, spacing 20 centimetres apart at the base of supports.
Position
Full sun in fertile, well drained soil enriched with organic matter. Provide strong supports such as poles, netting or a sturdy bean frame.
Harvest
Harvest from July to September. Pick pods regularly while young and tender to encourage continuous production.
